In the space market, everything is dominated by weight. The cost to launch a satellite into space is still enormous, so all the components should be as light as possible. We produce ultra lightweight composite structures, under the highest quality standards as required by the space industry.

Our current business is centered around solar array panels, for which we manufacture the sandwich panel substrates. We are one of the few qualified suppliers in Europe, and are building up a strong track-record through our current projects. We are also active in structural panels for satellites, and composite structures for the launchers. In our technology research programmes we are exploring new opportunities for space components, such as thermal and electrically conductive composites, nano-composites, RTM and fibre placement.

In our production facility in Ypenburg - the Hague, the Netherlands, we have all the engineering, infrastruture and processes in place to supply this market. In our cleanroom we laminate the prepreg products, that are cured in one of our autoclaves. We can machine the parts with our CNC milling machines, and inspect the quality with ultrasonic airscanning and Faro lasertracker. A dedicated quality control process is in place to ensure the highest quality.
