Airborne is a design and build company that creates advanced composite products. We work for a variety of markets, as diverse as aerospace, oil & gas, high-end machines, marine and science. These are high-end industrial markets where maximum performance and critical applications go hand-in-hand, and where failure is not an option. We use our differentiating technologies to produce innovative composite products on an industrial scale, and are constantly pushing the envelope in product performance and production efficiency. Airborne is ISO 9001 (in The Netherlands) en EN 9100(in Spain) qualified.

- 2009 Founding of the Airborne Technology Centre, to develop new breakthrough technologies
- 2008 Founding of Airborne Composites S.L in Spain., the first business unit outside the Netherlands (Girona, Spain)
- 2008 Establishment of a pilot production line for Airborne Composite Tubulars
- 2008 Growth into an organisation of 100+ people
- 2007 Founding of Airborne Composite Tubulars, to commercialise thermoplastic tubulars for the oil & gas industry
- 2005 Moving into a new state-of-the-art composites manufacturing facility (The Hague, the Netherlands)
- 2005 Transforming into Airborne Composites, an integrated Design and Build company
- 2001 Establishment composite workshop (Oegstgeest, the Netherlands)
- 2000 Moving into dedicated engineering office (Leidschendam, the Netherlands)
- 1998 Founding of Airborne Products, for production of composite products (small series and prototypes)
- 1995 Founding of Airborne Development, an engineering & consultancy firm (Delft, the Netherlands)
